The company is primarily engaged in the design and manufacture of riveting machines, presses and special assembly machines. It was founded in EIBAR (Spain) in 1948 by D. José Aguirregomezcorta and D. Sabín Mendicute. The company began its industrial activity manufacturing tools and dies mainly by the car manufacturer SEAT, and its auxiliary companies. It grew from a small family company to a medium size firm which is a world leader in manufacturing assembly equipment. The company has a registered office located in Eibar in Gipuzkoa, Spain. The company manufactures two lines of products: special machines and standard machines. Special machines include assembly modules, rotary transfers, and linear transfers. Standard machines, which are easily integrated into all types of special machines, are hydraulic riveting machines, pneumatic riveters; flexible riveting centres (CNC); hydraulic presses; electric presses; toggle presses; rack and pinion presses; fluids application systems; and markers, marking machines. Its special machines, as well as its riveters and presses, are exported to more than 25 countries. They are used in a wide range of industries, such as automotive, security, electrical and general industrial goods. The company is recognized in the national and international markets as a leading player in the design and manufacture of automatic assembly machines. The company's customers are Keiper, Fagor, Johnson Controls, Indaux, Imperial Locks, Icer Brakes S.A., Gamesa, Copreci, Grupo Antolin, Tesa, Kuster, ZF, Yamaha, Ensa, Ajusa, Faurecia, Inauxa SA, Brose, Road House, Belloza, CIE Egaña, TRW Automotive, Ikusi, Dalphimetal, OTIS, ABB, Flex N Gate, CIE Automotive, Bosch, Valeo, Arcelor, AL-KO, ULMA and Arcos. The company has supplied forming machines for more than 60 years. During this period, it has gained valuable experience in the assembly industry.
